Brandon had an interview on Wednesday for a couple of positions that opened up for the base in Tacoma. We haven't heard back yet. Last time he had an interview with them he heard back same day. It could be that he heard back so quickly because they had decided not to give him the job, and this time they are taking more time to consider him. If you look at it that way, there could be some very good news coming soon. :) We went on Tuesday and started looking at the differences of manufactured and stick built homes, since by March we'll be able to buy a house. We will likely be looking at either buying a house that's already built and on it's own land or buying a manufactured home and putting it on land that we have already found. It all depends on how the loans work out.
We are also still talking about trying to have another baby or if we should just end up trying to adopt. I have some appointments scheduled to see about the new risks of carrying another child since I had a c-section with Lily, and we don't know how that will affect all of my other high risk factors. We are going to be looking into the loans and financial aid with trying to do adoption. I hope we find some answers soon as to what to expect in terms of our family expanding.
This Wednesday I started waking up at 6am. I'm going to continue doing this on all days that Brandon works. Part of the reason is so that we can actually see each other in the morning, since he leaves before I get up and I don't get to see him until pretty late some days. The other part of the reason is that it will give me time to work out and shower before Lily wakes up, and if she does wake up, Daddy will still be here to help distract her from trying to help me work out or from trying to climb into the shower and throwing a fit when I tell her that she can't shower with me. I am not a person that likes to get up before the sun is up. With working out 5 mornings a week I hope that I will be below 220lbs by the end of December. Right now i'm weighing in at about 235. It would be difficult to lose 15lbs in just a couple of months, but I'm willing to try. Any weight loss is good right now. :)
We are having our good and bad times right now. Talking about buying a house and adding more children into our family are very big things that will change our lives. I'm hoping that it all goes relatively smoothly, while knowing that there will likely be many bumps along the road.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
